My name is Jayson. I live in Colorado with my beautiful wife Amy and our two dogs, Kya and Milo.
It would be fair to say that this blog is about everything that I’m passionate about which would include running, coding and my learning adventures. Occasionally, I’ll write about other topics that are fun or interesting. Maybe, I’ll even rant a little. In essence, this blog is pretty much about my life.
Running; I’m an avid runner. Am I good? Heck, I don’t know, but I love it. I believe running is very healthy for me, not just physically, but mentally and emontionally. I think it provides a good balance that my life needs. I’m usually in some form of training year-round and I’ve raced distances from the 5K to the marathon.
Coding: I’m passionate about technology so coding is just a moniker I’m attributing to it. In fact, it’s not just about writing code but also about developing something that people can use. I have a strong affinity towards Microsoft technologies, where I hold several certifications and strive to be at the forefront of the curve. However, I’m also well-versed in other platforms and languages.
Learning: I’m currently in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at Metropolitan State College of Denver. I enjoy the academic side of life and especially with my current experience level, it has been a treat applying my real-world knowledge to the topics. There’s usually something interesting as I move from one semester to another.
